What we collect when you shop with CITYBILLA, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
CITYBILLA operates this store at https://citybilla.com/. For questions about your data, contact us at info@citybilla.com.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, billing and delivery address, email address and phone number, along with what you bought and the order total. We need these to take payment, deliver your order and handle returns.
When you contact us: your name, email address, the subject and message you send, and any file you attach. These are stored so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
When you request a custom manufacturing quote: the contact and project details you enter on that form.
When you join our newsletter: your email address.
Automatically: your IP address, used to limit how often our forms and login page can be submitted so they cannot be abused. We do not use it to profile you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share only what each of these needs to do its job:
Payment provider. Card and PayPal payments are handled by our payment provider. Your card details are entered on their system and never reach ours.
Evri. Your name, delivery address and phone number, so your parcel can be delivered and tracked.
Hostinger. Our hosting provider, who stores the site and its database on our behalf.
Postcode lookup. When you use the address finder at checkout, the postcode you type is sent to postcodes.io and OpenStreetMap Nominatim to fetch matching addresses. Only the postcode is sent — never your name or the rest of your address.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require. Contact and quote enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter signups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Orders we are legally required to retain are the exception. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing at any time.
Email info@citybilla.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use cookies to remember what is in your bag, to keep you signed in to your account, and to keep checkout secure. These are necessary for the store to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
